Spa at Dread Val Quinthor

Mountain Serenity Spa

Sometimes you just need to stop, breathe, and let the mountains work their magic on your tired muscles. That's what we're here for.

Treatment Room

Yeah, we take wellness seriously around here

Look, after a day tackling those mountain trails or just getting here through all that beauty, your body's gonna need some TLC. Our spa isn't about fancy buzzwords or pretentious treatments - it's about actually making you feel better.

We've got therapists who really know their stuff. Like, they've been doing this for years and can tell exactly where you're holding all that tension (spoiler: it's probably your shoulders). They use techniques that actually work, not just whatever's trendy this season.

And here's the thing - our treatment rooms? They overlook the valley. So while you're getting that knot worked out of your back, you're staring at some of the most ridiculous mountain views in Alberta. It's kind of unfair, honestly.

Treatment Menu

No fluff, just stuff that actually works

Rockies Deep Tissue

60/90 min

This is the one everyone gets after hiking. Serious pressure, focused on getting into those stubborn knots. Not gonna lie, it might hurt a bit - but in that good way where you know it's working. Great for athletes or if you've been hitting the trails hard.

Mountain Air Facial

75 min

That mountain air's amazing but it can really dry you out. This facial's all about rehydrating and repairing wind-damaged skin. We use local botanicals and some really nice serums. You'll leave looking less like a weathered mountaineer and more like yourself again.

$165

Hot Stone Therapy

90 min

Smooth heated stones placed along your spine and muscles. The heat gets way deeper than regular massage can, loosening everything up. It's incredibly relaxing - half our clients fall asleep during this one. Perfect for the evening after you've checked in.

$210

Couples Mountain Escape

90 min

Side-by-side massages in our couples suite. Choose between Swedish, deep tissue, or hot stone. Includes a private relaxation lounge with champagne and chocolate after. Yeah, it's romantic - we get a lot of anniversary bookings for this one.

$420

Alpine Body Wrap

60 min

Full body exfoliation followed by a mineral-rich wrap and scalp massage. We use ingredients sourced from the region - pine, eucalyptus, local herbs. Your skin'll feel completely renewed. It's like hitting the reset button on your whole body.

$175

Sports Recovery Session

60 min

Targeted work on problem areas - IT bands, hip flexors, whatever's screaming at you. Combines deep tissue, stretching, and sometimes cupping if needed. Popular with our skiing and mountain biking crowd. Marcus designed this one himself.

Wellness Packages - Better value, better results

Honestly? One treatment's great, but a package? That's where you really start to feel different. We've put these together based on what actually works, not just what sounds good on paper.
